Install, set up and unlock Pro. Steps are the same for Timeboard and Gridline unless noted.

Install

Install into a sandbox first, then production.

  1. Get the install link. Until the AppExchange listing is live, request the link on the contact page and we send it by email.
  2. Open the link while logged in as an admin. Choose Install for Admins Only.
  3. Wait for the confirmation, then continue with the steps below.

Both apps are free to run without a key.

Assign permission sets

  1. Go to Setup, Users, Permission Sets.
  2. Open the app’s permission set and choose Manage Assignments.
  3. Assign it to everyone who will use the app. Admins who enter a licence key need the admin permission set if one is provided.

Users still see only what their profile, sharing rules and field-level security allow.

Add the component in Lightning App Builder

  1. Open a record page or app page, then choose Edit Page.
  2. Drag the Timeboard or Gridline component onto the layout.
  3. Pick the object and fields in the component properties.
  4. Save and activate the page.

Enter a licence key to unlock Pro

  1. After purchase or trial approval, you receive a key that starts with PF1.
  2. Open the app’s Setup tab. Only admins see it.
  3. Paste the key and save. Pro features unlock on refresh.

Keys are tied to one org and one product, and are checked offline inside your org. If the key is missing, wrong for the org or expired, the app runs on the free tier. Nothing breaks.

Find your Org ID

We need your Org ID to issue a key. In Salesforce, go to Setup, search for Company Information, and copy the Salesforce.com Organization ID. It starts with 00D and has 15 or 18 characters. Send either form.
